Structure Of X-ray Tube

Hangzhou Sailray Imp & Exp Co.,Ltd | Updated: Aug 28, 2017

Fixed anode x-ray tube is the simplest one in common X-ray tube, its structure consists of anode, cathode and fixed poles and glass shell with high vacuum in glass tube.

The anode is composed of Yang Jitu, anode cap, glass ring and anode handle. The main effect of the anode is that the target surface of the anode head (usually tungsten target) is used to block the electron flow of the high-speed motion and produce x-rays, and the resulting heat radiation or conduction through the anode handle, also absorbs two of electrons and scattered rays. X-rays produced in the work of the tungsten alloy X-ray tubes only utilize the energy of less than 1% of the high-speed motion electron flow, so the heat dissipation is an important problem for X-ray tubes. The cathode is mainly composed of filament, focusing hood (or cathode head), cathode sleeve and glass core column. The electron beam bombarding the anode target is formed by the hot cathode filament (usually tungsten filament), which is focused by the focusing hood (cathode head) under the high voltage acceleration of the tungsten alloy X-ray tube. The sudden blockage of a high-speed electron beam impinging on an anode target produces an X-ray (which has a characteristic x-ray reflecting the metal of the anode target) that is continuously distributed.
